My May 2024 Reads
We are at the beginning of June, so it’s time for my May reads! There has been a lot going on personally for me which has backed up my reviews and posts, but I am still doing the best I can: If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you already know: I am in a separation leading to divorce, and just moved into MY own little studio apartment last Saturday, May 25th! Sage and Curry will be joining me in a few weeks. Once I am settled, the divorce goes through (my lawyer is VERY fast with this!), and life in general calms down, I am hoping to getting back fully to my reading and reviews in full force as much as possible!
If by chance you feel led to help, here is my Amazon ‘Apartment Wish List’ which is actually needed things. This list changes as things are purchased and what I realize I need. Wish List
But enough of my drama, it’s time for my May 2024 reads. These were all audiobooks, one was a short story.
Here are the books in the order I finished them:
Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAlllister- 5 stars
If Something Happens to Me by Alex Findlay- 4 stars
Home is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose- 4.5 stars
People Like Them by Minka Kent (short story)
My favorite read was a re-read: Wrong Place Wrong Time. Even though I am not a parent, it is just… WOW!!! This is also a book club read.
My ‘least favorite’ was the short story, People Like Them. It’s not that it was bad, with everything I had going on I honestly don’t remember that much about it. I do remember partly enjoying it, I will just have to listen to it again so I can properly review it. Since it is a short story, that will be doable!!
Let’s hope that June is a much better month. It’s the start of a new chapter in my life. And let’s bring on some more reading!
