About Me
My name is Jessica and I live in Georgia. I am divorced as of July 2024, but more importantly, I am a cat mom and have two precious cat furbabies named Curry and Shiva. Curry was adopted from a local animal shelter and Shiva was a stray kitten found at my ex-husband’s job. There is another furbaby named Sage who is with my ex husband. I would have kept all three if I could have!
I’ve been actively reading and keeping track of the books I have read since 2009. More recently I started writing reviews for Goodreads and Amazon. I wanted to expand that and the result is this website! The reviews posted are 100% my honest opinions.
I don’t read one particular genre. If I am interested in it I will read it, and I will read most genres. My top two genres are thrillers and YA. Yes, two very different genres!
My favorite author is Heather Gudenkauf. I was fortunate to meet her in March of 2024. She never comes to Georgia, and then she did! Nothing was stopping me from attending that book signing… Especially since my job was closed the next day for Good Friday! Then more thriller authors closely follow…..

My favorite books are the They Both Die at the End series by Adam Silvera and then The Invisible Life of Addie LaRuw by V.E. Schab. I plead the fifth on how many copies of these books I own….
Books are rated on a 5 star scale:
1 star- I did not like the book
2 stars- It was ok/ it wasn’t terrible
3 stars- It was good/ I liked it
4 stars- I really liked it
5 stars- I loved the book and was blown away/it was amazing
**Most books tend to get a four star rating from me. I don’t often give a five star rating; when I do it is well deserved. Rarer still is a one or two star rating.
I am also a NetGalley Member. I’m working to get those stats improved! But I do finally have the 80% badge! I won’t talk about how long it took for me to earn it! I am determined to keep that 80% badge!
