Alexa lives a sheltered life with her widowed father, feeling stifled by his helicopter parenting. Alexa too has spent time at the Weinstein Center. But she’s determined to lead a normal life now and soon begins to date a YouTuber client. According to Beth, something isn’t quite right with Curt, but Alexa shrugs her clingy sister’s warnings off. It’s Beth who’s crazy, after all . . . As the sister bond grows strained over Alexa’s relationship and career success, questions mount, and secrets unfold, revealing the wickedly dark shared history of the twin siblings. What exactly happened when the twins were only nine that set this vile trajectory in motion?

Jessica’s Review:
Do You Follow? Is the debut from C.J. Bidonde and it was well done. We have twins which is also a draw to the novel as that twin bond is fascinating to those of us that are not twins. Though we have a trope that has been done many times before, Bidonde gives us a unique twist on that trope that I was shocked about!
Too much cannot be said without giving away plot points, but I enjoyed this one. It is a fast-paced novel and both Alexa and Beth are our narrators and they are both very different from each other. We also have Dr. Greer as a narrator later in the novel. Follow goes in a direction you may or may not expect, but the twist at the end did not shock me.
I listened to the audiobook and Follow is a novel I am tempted to listen to again now that I know the whole story.
Do You Follow is recommended for a rather quick and intense read!
