My September 2023 Reads!

Today is October 1st, and I am sharing the books I read in September! We are heading to the end of 2023, which is just crazy!

I read eight books in total for September: Six on audio and two on Kindle. The books are listed in the order I finished the books:

Bright Lights, Big Christmas by Mary Kay Andrews- 4 stars
The Last Girls Standing by Jennifer Dugan- 3.5 stars
Missing by Ruby Speechley- 4 stars
The Sight by Melanie Golding- 3 stars
Her Husband’s Mistake by Daniel Hurst- 4.5 stars
The Coworker by Freida McFadden- 4 stars
Who Haunts You by Mark Wheaton- 3 stars
Tender is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica- 4 stars

My favorite read was Her Husband’s Mistake. I was able to listen to an alc (advanced listening copy) and it was just released yesterday (9/30).  Don’t read Amazon’s book description or you will be spoiled by too much for such a short book! If you read Goodreads description you are good: That’s the one that I read and was not spoiled.  Which is why I think I enjoyed it as much as I did. I am positive that my rating would have been lower if I had been spoiled

My ‘least favorite’ was Who Haunts You. It just didn’t really work for me.

What did YOU read in September?

I also got to #PopYourself! This is where you can make a Funko of yourself on Funko’s website!  Funko Jessica is so cute! My Funko self has a book (of course!) and 2 cats. You can do two max, I would have done three otherwise since I have three cats!

Here’s my Funko self! You can also order it to be made!  Which I did! Of course I will post when it arrives!!!
